VHF Radio Telephone: JHS-32B
The JHS-32B VHF radiotelephone can be easily installed not only in the conventional ships (all passenger ships and the cargo ships of over 300 gross tons engaged in international navigation) but also in the non-conventional ships of over 100 gross tons because it is designed so compact and light weight. Besides the usual radiotelephone function, the JHS-32B VHF radiotelephone is equipped with digital selective calling (DSC) function for distress and general routine communications. The JHS-32B incorporates all the necessary units for the DSC service, such as the DSC unit, the CH70 DSC Watchkeeping Receiver, and the power supply.
Inmarsat-C: JUE-75C
EPIRB: JQE-3A
The 406MHz satellite EPIRB, when it is thrown into water from a vessel or automatically released from the bracket in distress, automatically emits the 406Mhz emergency signal, which the COSPAS/SARSAT satellite receives and relays to a Local User's Terminal(LUT) on 1.5GHz. The LUT decodes the signal information including the location of the EPIRB and transmits it to a Rescue Co-ordination Center(RCC) for quick start of SAR operations by aircraft and vessels.
SART: JQX-30A

When its radar receiver is triggered by an interrogating radar of 9GHz band on a search and rescue ship or aircraft, the SART transmits a coded response signal to inform the searcher of the survivors’ position through the radar display.
NAVTEX: NCR-333
